Atterbury Theatre · Pretoria

drama 11 Nov · Opens 11 Nov · R250–R280

Steinway Artist and Pianist, Ben Schoeman returns to the Fairtree Atterbury Theatre with a programme of exceptional breadth and brilliance, opening with two works by Beethoven - the radiant Op. 2 No. 3 Sonata and the tempestuous drama of the “Appassionata” Sonata. After the interval, Schoeman brings his intellectual poise to three Preludes and Fugues from JS Bach’s Well‑Tempered Clavier (Book 1), followed by the noble introspection of Chopin’s C‑sharp minor Nocturne Op.
